What to expect from iPhone 2.0. iPhone will get hardware updates including… New color options for plastic back, black, white, and possibly red. A better camera at least 3megapixels and possibly as much as 5. It will also include video and maybe even video chatting. Although it may be slightly thicker Steve will sell it as thinner because of rounded back it will be thinner at the edges. Haptic feedback will let users know when they have touched the keys. Of course it will have 3g so faster speeds but will have an option to use 2.5g for better battery life. Gps is an option although with current triangulation I don’t really see the benefit it will give users. Software updates will benefit both new phone and current iPhone owners and will include everything under the sun. I expect to see a lot of games as iPhone and touch will compete strongly against all mobile gaming and some console systems. I also expect a wide array of business tools including P.O.S. And customer management software. Also there will be interfaces for web 3.0 like ability to snap a picture of a product, upload it to servers in the cloud, download information about that product and report back to user. Look also for a system where you order food in a restaurant on your own iPhone and when your food is up it lets you or waiter know. I look forward to the June 9th keynote and expect the new phone to go on sale the 15th or the 29th.
